We’re pleased to confirm that our Community Garden Project has been approved for the Aviva Community Fund.
We plan to create a community garden which will compliment the services and activities which are currently held at Libanus Lifestyle centre. We provide a range of fitness, health and wellbeing services along with various activities including lunch clubs, support groups, line dancing, yoga, fitness classes for all ages and abilities, childrens theatre groups, dance classes, complementary therapies, mindfulness and adult education classes. We want to create a community garden which can grow produce that we can use in our community kitchen/cafe area and to offer volunteer opportunities for adults and children to improve their health and wellbeing and improve their social lives.
The public vote which opens on 23 October 2018 so we’ll keep you posted!
